Is the Administrator Exam Changing?
Yes! Here is the brand new exam guide, which reflects the changes being made to the Admin Exam. In a nutshell, the exam has gone from 12 Knowledge Areas down to 7. In reality, many of the previous knowledge areas have been combined.
However, there are some key sections of the exam that have gone away, as well as other topics and sections which have been added. I have updated the curriculum (live training, on-demand video lesson assignments, as well as Trailhead assignments) to reflect this new structure for the exam, so that you will be fully prepared for the new exam.
What is included with my registration?
During this live course journey, you will benefit from over 65 hours of blending learning. You can also get your questions answered live by Mike Wheeler. You will have access to all of the replays for a year. Here is a breakdown of your learning assets:
How many hours a week is the commitment for this course?
This live course consists of a 90-minute live meeting time each week. You will be expected to also work through a series of my pre-recorded videos from my new 2021 Lightning Admin Certification course. This course work each week also roughly amounts to 2-3 hours per week. I will also provide supplemental material and optional work for you to get the most out of this course and to better prepare for the admin exam, which may consist of roughly 3-5 hours of additional time devoted to studying and getting hands-on experience on the Salesforce platform. This amounts to roughly 10 hours of focused work on your part, each week.
Who is this course for?
This live course is intended for someone who is brand-new, or relatively new to the Salesforce platform. No prior experience is required. You don't need a Computer Science degree, or a background in IT.
How does the live course differ from your on-demand content?
I do have an on-demand Lightning Admin course series which we will use for the weekly assignments and homework for this live course. How this course differs is that I cover topics I do not cover in the on-demand courses. This includes brand new features from the latest release of Salesforce as well as background information, conceptual information, and various gaps or greater depths on key concepts beyond what's available with the previously recorded on-demand courses. Also unique to the live experience is the ability to ask questions and receive answers directly from me.
Will replays of the live course sessions be available?
Yes! Each live session will be recorded and replays will be available soon after each live session. You can review these sessions and rewatch them multiple times, at your convenience. Replays remain available to you for one year.
Do you offer payment plans or financing options?
I have priced this live course to be as affordable as I possibly can, so as to reach as many people as possible. With that said, I recognize this is a considerable investment in your future, and career. You can enroll using a credit card and pay off this course over time, to better fit your monthly budget. Also, in addition to credit card payment options at checkout, you may also apply for PayPal Credit, and then select PayPal at checkout to see what sort of payment options they offer to you, based on what you qualify for.
What is your refund policy?
I want to make this course totally risk-free for you. If for any reason you don't find this course to your liking, you may request a refund up until the first day after your first live session is complete. Just ask for your money back and I will refund it, no questions asked.
When will the next live course be?
Due to the popularity of this course, we make every effort to schedule sessions that are convenient to students. We currently have three class sessions scheduled per year. This comes out to roughly one class every four months. In that amount of time, you could complete this live course session and attain your Admin certification, so I recommend that you enroll now, rather than waiting for next session (don't procrastinate :)

What are the live sessions like? What software is used? Do I appear on camera?
The live class sessions are held on WebinarJam as weekly webinar sessions. This allows for hundreds of students to join into live course sessions without a problem. You will not be appearing on camera, but I will be live on camera. I will also be sharing my screen live as I demonstrate various Salesforce scenarios, sharing slide presentations, and cover new features from the current release of Salesforce.
The webinar software allows for chat and asking questions, answering poll questions and is very intuitive and interactive. The replays will include the comments in addition to the video content as well. It's recommended that you attend the live sessions using a laptop or desktop computer. You can either attempt to follow along in your own free Salesforce developer account along with my live demonstrations, or you can rewatch the replay and work through my demonstrations on your own, after the live session. It's up to you as to how you work best, and what your particular device or machine can handle as far as window display size and connectivity.
What do I do if I need a team to be trained?
You can select up to 99 enrollments at checkout. If you have a team of 5 or more members who all need to attend this live training course, please contact me at email@example.com to receive bulk pricing and information on various invoicing and payment options. We will ultimately need the names and email addresses for each of the team members.
My employer wants me or my team to be trained. Can you invoice them?
Yes, I can send an invoice. I will need the company name, email and mailing address and whom to address the invoice to. Invoice payments will be due before the first live course session and must be paid online using a credit card. I cannot facilitate paying for bulk enrollments via check. If you require more time to work this out with your Accounts Payable department, you may want to explore purchasing the enrollment(s) and filing for reimbursement with your employer.
